When did you first realise that you are Psychic
I can remember clearly being twenty years old with a young baby. We were living in the South of England at the time and my parents lived in Merseyside. I receivced a telephone call to say my mother was ill. My husband and I drove back late at night so we could see my mother the next day as she was now in hospital. After falling asleep for a few hours I suddenly woke up to a nurse standing at the side of my bed taking my pulse. She disappeared after a few minutess and I I have never been so scared. I could describe her in detail and insisted that we went to the hospital that minute. It was now 6 am in the morning. My husband was very reluctant saying the hospital would call if anything was seriously wrong.
When we arrived at the ward the nurse who opened the door was exactly as I had described her. My mother had indeed taken a turn for the worse and there was real concern for her for a few weeks. My down to earth husband was completely shocked. My mother did recover thankfully but I could never explain what had happened with any logical explanation. I began to believe we are all psychic and that some people just spend more time with it than other.
My experience was over thirty years ago and I have spent a lot of time developing this ability since.
I have felt for a long time that sleep or rather lack of sleep is connected to psychic ability. From my own experience I believe I was sleep deprived when I had my first psychic encounter. Not just from one night due to travelling but for many weeks previously as I had a young baby. It doesn`t make the experience any less real I just feel that is why it occurred when it did. I never had imaginary friends, or seen spirits as a child, and it is rare for me to see anything now. What happens is I feel whatever is going to happen
or if I am holding something belonging to someone I can `read` things from it. This is called psychometry and for some reason I read better from metal, for example, a braclet or ring, than from a scarf or piece of clothing.
What about you? What was your first psychic memory?
